But, I had family nearby that kept me informed of how no one was out there doing anything. During this process the loan company was desperately trying to schedule an appraisal so we could get things going. I talked to the seller and asked him when a good time to schedule the appraisal would be sense he still has work left. From that conversation, he gave me a date and I relayed that over to the appraiser. Now, as many of you could have probably guess, this appraisal didn't go so well. First, he didn't even show up to it even though he was the one that picked the date and time. However, he left the house unlocked so the appraiser was able to get in and do their stuff. Well, turns out he hadn't done anything else to the house. The appraiser notified me of this and that they pretty much had pages of issues with the house that needed to be fixed. At this point I'm mad and the loan people seem like they could care less and the house is still an unlivable mess. Somewhere around the end of March the seller for some reason decides to start getting on fixing the house.
